Families are invited to plant themselves at the Dellrose Spring Market noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12, where they will discover plenty of blossoming opportunities for fun. Local vendors will offer unique items at the Dellrose Clubhouse event lawn, 17312 Springfield Meadow Drive in Hockley. Garden enthusiasts will dig plant experts sharing tips for the backyard. Food trucks will offer spring treats for purchase and attendees can tour professionally decorated model homes and greet the animals at the petting zoo. Each attendee will leave with a free flat of seasonal flowers. The Easter Bunny will be on hand, and children can enjoy face painting, Easter egg races and an inflatable zone. A Texas A&M master gardener will offer answer gardening questions.
