• Welcome!

We would like to offer you a warm Waller welcome!

The Waller area encompasses the Waller Independent School District and covers over   320 square miles. Most visitors don't know, but the area includes the communities of   Waller, Hockley, Fields Store, Rosehill, and Pine Island. This geographically diverse area extends into both Harris and Waller counties.

The City of Waller is located about 45 miles west of Houston just down US Hwy 290. About half of the town is in Harris County and the other in Waller County. Out here small town charm is still alive in both the area and it's people.

Next time you are on you way to Austin or Bryan / College Station, stop by and have lunch or take a tour of the area.

  • Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship recipients and their Chamber affiliations!

All Waller Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship applicants must have a Chamber affiliation such as they or their parents must own or directly be employed by a Chamber member. Since that is the case and in an effort to be non-biased and show no favoritism, all scholarship applications are ranked by a panel of judges that are not associated with the Chamber, the applicants, or the community. Each judge ranks the application on items such as; letter of recommendation, essay ideas, essay organization and grammar, resume, application presentation and overall impression and scholarships are awarded per those rankings.

  • The Waller Area Chamber of Commerce does not endorse any political candidate running for any elections - local, state or federal. We do have active Political Officials that are Individual members AND we have currently campaigning Candidates that have joined as Members to help promote their campaign. Occasionally we will forward posts on our Facebook page giving meet and greet information but those are NOT endorsements or recommendations.
